Lady Giants now 4-0 in district play

The Jena Lady Giants played two more district games this past week as they played the Vidalia Lady Vikings at home and traveled to play the Marksville Lady Tigers. On Tuesday the Vidalia Lady Vikings came to town. The Lady Giants took the early lead 2-0 in the first inning after a 2 RBI double by K.C. Toler. The Lady Giants added 7 more runs in the 4th inning and 2 in the 5th inning and went on to win the game by a score of 11-0 in five innings. Junior Darian Thacker got the win after pitching a complete game shutout. Thacker only gave up one hit and had 7 strikeouts.
