Charlie Smith’s 4 TDs lead Jena Giants to 35-8 victory over Vidalia

The Jena Giants welcomed the Vidalia Vikings to town for the district opener for both teams last Friday night. Both teams came into the game with 2-3 records and were looking to start off district play with a win. The Vikings were on a 3 game losing streak and were trying to get back on the winning track. The Giants came in on a 2 game losing streak after dropping two tough games to Menard and Delhi Charter. The Giants were without Senior Running Back Chevy Thornton who was out with a shoulder injury.
