Jennifer Michelle Harrison, 43, known affectionately by everyone as “Missi”, passed from this life on Thursday, January 30, 2014, at her residence following a brief illness. She was born September 22, 1970 at Columbia. Services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 2, from the Columbia chapel of Riser Funeral Home with Rev. Benny Braddock officiating. Interment followed in the Welcome Home Cemetery, east of Grayson, under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lecil and Odell Aldrich; her mother- in-law, Leta Lingefelt; her father-in-law, Hobo Harrison; and brother-in-law, Mark Silvie. Survivors include her husband, Festus Harrison of Columbia; son, Joshua Harrison and wife Beth of Columbia; her daughter, Brittany May and husband Michael of Grayson; her sister, Annie Mendoza of Jeanerette; and her five precious grandchildren, David May, Billy Harrison, Thomas Harrison, Annabeth Harrison, and Lourretta Harrison. Pallbearers were Todd Ganey, Michael May, Khodee Trahan, Too Tall Tarver, Jeremia Mize, Jordan May, Scott Ganey, and Clay Ganey. Honorary pallbearers were Shane May, Dalton Hatten, and Jacob Buller.
