The third snowstorm in two weeks hit LaSalle Parish about mid-morning

The temperature stood at 32-degrees when this photograph was snapped shortly after the snow started to fall in downtown Jena. A week earlier, the parish received 4-inches of snowfall, coupled with about a half inch of sleet
which covered the roads and ground ahead of the snow, causing major problems in the area. The snowfall last week lasted until early afternoon when the temperature rose just above freezing and it all melted in a short time
