Dorothy Lee Noland, 77, of Pollock, passed from this life on Thursday, February 27, 2014, at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria. She was born November 25, 1936 in Bay City, Texas, to the union of her parents, Bryant Jefferson and Marilyn Estelle Galyean Richardson. Mrs. Noland was a homemaker. Services were held at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 1, at Lincecum Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Winegart officiating. Interment followed in the Lincecum Cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leo Noland, Sr.; and brother, Bryant Richardson, Jr. Survivors include three daughters, Lorraine Gallien of Ball, Lisa R. Dabbs, and Laverne Noland, both of Pollock; two sons, Leo J. Noland, Jr. of Branson, MO, and James C. Noland of West Monroe; three sisters, Shirley Ottinger of Coos Bay, OR, Betty Smith of Trula Vista, CA, and Maxine Kelly of Houston, TX; two brothers, Thomas M. Richardson of Bullhead City, AZ, and Myron Richardson of Beaver, UT; 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Leslie George Clark, III, Dustin Wade Clark, Leo Shane Clark, Ryan Michael Noland, Shawn Dabbs, and Kyle Dabbs.
