Jessie Neoma Windham Martin, 86, of Pineville, passed from this life on Saturday, March 1, 2014, at the Hilltop Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Pineville. She was born April 26, 1927 in Trout to the union of her parents, Greg Lee Windham and Vada Strozier Windham. Mrs. Martin was a homemaker, school teacher and a Sunday school teacher. Services were held in the chapel of Rush Funeral Home in Pineville with Rev. Henry Blunt officiating. Interment followed in the Greg Windham family cemetery in the Belah Community. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, E. S. Windham and Roy L. Windham; and a sister, Arah Owens. Survivors include her husband, E. J. Martin of Pineville; one son, Elswood Kenner “Buddy” Martin and wife Bridget of Chicago, IL; one daughter, Faith Neoma “Tina” Ravary and husband Michel of Seattle, WA; two sisters, Lena French of Overland Park, KS and Edrie Lovell of Bradenton, FL; two grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Vincent Owens, Benjamin Owens, Mark L. Windham, David Dodge, Gary McKay, and Lynn Kavenail.
