T. G. Teer

T. G. Teer, 79, of Farmerville, and a Jena business owner, passed from this life on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, from complications following heart surgery. He was born January 18, 1935 to the union of his parents, Odell and Vonnie Teer. Mr. Teer owned and operated Century Loans, LLC of Jena and had been active in the finance business for many years. Before Century Loans, Teer owned and operated other finance companies in Jena.
He was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church of Farmerville. Services were held at 2 p.m, Friday, March 21, in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville with Rev. John Rushing officiating. Interment followed in
the Roselawn Cemetery in Calhoun under direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Beverly Ann Teer. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Teer of Farmerville; two daughters, Sherry Lynn Teer Colson and husband Rob of Brandon, MS, and Dusty Lynn Teer of Farmerville; one son, Michael David Teer and wife Gloria of West Monroe; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Drew, Payton, Brennan, Branson, Brooklyn, Micah, Hunter, and Makenzie; brother, J. D. Teer and wife Shirley of DeKalb, MS; and several nieces. Memorials may be made to the building fund of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, 132 Mt. Tabor Church Road, Farmerville, LA 71241.
