Jimmy Dale Hall, Sr., 73, of Jena, was received into Heaven on Thursday, May 8, 2014, in Alexandria. He was born Tuesday, October 15, 1940 in Harrisonburg to the union of Rev. Ford and Martha Fene Smalling Hall.
Jimmy Dale was a mechanic in the oil industry. Services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 10, in the chapel of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home in Jena with the Revs. Glen Roark and Tony Ganey officiating. Interment followed in the Belah Cemetery under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena. He was preceded in death by his parents; and four brothers, Larry Hall, Doyce Hall, Donnie Ray Hall, andGary Hall. Survivors include his wife, Oneida “Nita” Norman Hall; two daughters, Lisa Hale and Kristy Ford; two sons, Jimmy Dale Hall, Jr. and Carlton Hall, Sr.; two sisters, Shirley Jensen and Gloria Hall; one brother, Marcus Hall; six grandchildren and one great-grandson. Pallbearers were Reggie Loe, Ronnie “Bubba” Loe, Jim Loe, Dennis Warwick, Bradley McDowell, and Buddy Frost.  onorary pallbearers were Ancel Woodard, Brandon Joy,Tommy Joy, Floyd Schillinger, 
and Tommy Reeves
