Tim Beech, 59, of Trout, passed from this life on Saturday, May 31, 2014, at the Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria. He was born July 18, 1954 to the union of his parents, Robert Marion and Dorsie Lee Beech of Trout. Tim at 17 joined the U.S. Navy and served aboard the Aircraft Carrier USS Ranger during the Vietnam War. Upon completing his service in the Navy, he attended the Culinary Art School in San Francisco, California.
He was a quiet, genteel person who loved his family and friends. Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday,  June 3, at Heard Cemetery near Manifest with the Revs.Walter Lloyd and Byron Norris officiating. Interment followed under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry and Amelia Beech, and Lee and Flora Parker; sister, Lynda Sue Beech; and brother, Bruce Beech.
Survivors include his daughter, Erin Beech-Coons of Marysville, CA; sons, Jacob Beech of Beaverton, OR, and Scott Maxwell of Trout; parents, Robert Marion and Dorsie Lee Beech of Trout; sister, June Gann and husband
Scotty of Trout; and eight grandchildren. Pallbearers were Ernest Lee Parker, David Barnes, Ernest Lee Barnes, Mike Foley, Scott Maxwell, and Joshua Hudnall.
