Billy E. Richardson, 82, of Jena, passed from this life on Saturday, June 21, 2014, at LaSalle General Hospital of Jena. He was born September 20, 1931 in Jena to the union of his parents, Theodore Augustus and Annie Ethel Beaubouef Richardson. Billy owned and operated Southside Service Station in Jena for 43 years. He was a loving husband for 60 years, devoted Dad, who loved his family, his grand babies and  great grand babies.
He enjoyed the outdoors, especially while hunting in the Aimwell hills. He believed in hard work, was a friend to all and loved the Lord. Billy was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church for 25  years, and served his country
in the United States Air Force. Services were held at 10 a.m., Monday, June 23, in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with Rev. Randy Ray officiating. Interment followed in the  Woodland Cemetery, east
of Jena, under direction of Hixson Brothers, Inc. of Jena. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Bernice Simmons. Survivors include his wife, Levita Parker Richardson  of Jena; daughter, Carolyn Francis and husband Robin of Trout; son, Danny Richardson and wife Pam of Jena; sister, Cletis Marie McAdams of Tampa, FL; four grandchildren, Jeremy Richardson of Pineville, Taylor Thompson of Jena, Caleb Francis and Hannah Francis, both of Belah; five great grandchildren, Madison Bailey Richardson, Harper Fae Richardson, Addison Kaye Richardson, Sawyer Thompson, and Lilah Thompson. Pallbearers were Darryl Valentine, Bo Valentine,  Robin
 rancis, Caleb Francis, Jeremy Richardson, and Jeromy Thompson. Honorary pallbearers were Darrel Robinson and Carl B. Sanson.
