Services for Joseph Enzor Hughes, 84, of Jonesville, were held at 10 a.m., Friday, March 25, 2016 at Liberty Worship Center in Jonesville, with Rev. Lester Johnson officiating, Interment followed in Heard Cemetery of Manifest, under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home-Jonesville. Mr. Hughes, a United States Marine-Korean War veteran and a member of Liberty Worship Center, was a retired off shore engineer, and entrepreneur of many endeavors. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Idee Hughes; a son, Joseph Kevin Hughes; and a brother, George Louis Hughes. Survived include two sons, Kent Hughes of Monroe, and Micah Hughes and wife Mary of Jonesville; five grandchildren, Jolee Brixey and husband Justin, Corey Hughes, Joseph “Beau” Hughes, Kaley Hughes and Micahla Hughes; four great grandchildren; three sisters, Lucille Tarver of Deville, Meryle Smart of Manifest, and Shirley Cotten of Jonesville; and several nieces and nephews.
