Eighth grade students in LaSalle Parish listen intently as an inmate at LaSalle Correctional Center in Urania tells about choices he made which caused him to be an inmate at the prison. The students were able to tour the prison and listen to some of the inmates tell their stories through the Youth Crime Awareness Program, instituted this year by Sheriff Scott Franklin and LCC Warden Jeff Windham.
