A committee named by the LaSalle Parish School Board net at 2 p.m. last Thursday, April 16, to open bids for construction work at the Olla-Standard Elementary School.

Seven contractors submitted bids ranging from $2,082,000 to $2,329,000. Westerchill Construction Company from Alexandria submitted the low bid of just over two million dollars.
