The LaSalle Tigers treated the Homecoming alumni to an impressive win last Friday night against the Tensas Panthers. LaSalle exploded for 34 first half points enroute to a 41-0 win. With the stands packed, the Tigers took the opening kickoff at their own 20 yard line. After two completions from Cole Hendrix to Kenneth Smith for 52 yards, the Tigers capped off the 6 play 80 yard drive with a 21 yard TD pass from Hendrix to Corey Garrett. Kyle Barnhill ran in the 2 point conversion and LaSalle led 8-0 with 9:35 left in the 1st quarter. Holding Tensas to 3 and out, forcing a punt, Hoy Lane Phillips blocked the punt giving the Tigers the ball at the Tensas 16 yard line. Logan Wilson carried it in from 10 yards out and LaSalle led 14-0 with 7:45 left in the 1st. With 2:06 left in the opening quarter, Cole Hendrix dashed for 33 yards to the one yard line, carrying it in on the next play. Hendrix found Lucas Parham for the extra point and LaSalle led 22-0 in the first quarter.
