By Mark Richardson

The LaSalle Tigers ran into a buzzsaw last Friday night as the Block Bears put up 42 first half points enroute to a 49-12 victory and a 3-1A District Championship. The Bears scored first in the contest with 5:50 left in the 1st quarter on a 73 yard 10 play drive that culminated with a 7 yard run by Austin Danzy. The run for the 2 point conversion failed and Block led 6-0.
