The LaSalle Tigers entered the Class A State Playoffs on a two game losing streak but made sure that streak would end, as they scored 26 1st quarter points against the Grand Lake Hornets enroute to a 38-6 win last Friday night in Tiger Stadium. The Tigers opened the game at their own 47 yard line after a good return by Morgan Barbo. On first down, Logan Wilson ripped off a 16 yard run. On the next play, Cole Hendrix found Kenneth Smith for a 26 yard completion to the Hornet 10 yard line. On the third and final play of the drive, Logan Wilson burst up the middle for a 10 yard touchdown run. Tristan Gilliam kicked the extra point and 48 seconds into the game, LaSalle led 7-0.
