The Jena Giants and Lady Giants played a home game this past Tuesday against the Monterey Wolves. The Lady Giants were looking to build onto their success from last season which included a playoff berth for the first time since the 2005-2006 season. Head Coach Kristi Small returns for her second year as head coach with Jena. The Lady Giants started off slow as Monterey led 20-10 mid way through the second quarter. At half time Jena trailed 20-16. In the third quarter the Lady Giants picked up the intensity on both ends of the court and outscored Monterey 1 6-12 in the quarter go into the fourth quarter tied at 32.
