George Thomas “Tony” Wyant, 77, of Enterprise, passed from this life on Monday, December 2, 2013, at his daughter’s residence in Winnsboro. He was born July 24, 1936 in Catahoula Parish to the union of his parents, Thomas Wyant and Lottie Jackson Wyant. Tony was a member of the New Ouachita Baptist Church of Enterprise. Services were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 4, from the sanctuary of New  Ouachita Baptist Church
at Enterprise with the Rev. James King and Jeff Robinson officiating. Interment followed in the Wyant Cemetery at Enterprise under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Fay Wetonah Baker Wyant. Survivors include three sons, George Wyant, Jr. and wife Donna, Larry Wyant,  and James “Abe” Wyant and wife Molly, all of Enterprise; two daughters, Tahressa Jenkins and husband Carl of Winnsboro, and Patsy Wyant of Enterprise. Grandchildren, Ashley Wyant, Dusty Estes and husband Bubba,  Jason Wyant, Jordan Wyant, Makayla Wyant, Anna Tarver and husband Lee, Andrew Boothe, Greg Wyant 
and wife Samantha, Brooke Scribber and husband Oscar; step-grandchildren, Justin Cook and Dakota Wylie; honorary grandchild, Emily Nelson; great grandchildren, Taylor Wyant, Savannah Wyant, Eli Estes, Ayden Wyant,
Colter Scribber, Ab Tarver and Leyton Baker. Pallbearers were Glenn McCormack, Clifton Wyant, Kenny Baker, Cody Nelson, David Eames, and R. E. Mc- Guffee. Walter Everett served as an honorary pallbearer
