Skeet shoot raises funds for 4-H shotgun program

LaSalle Parish 4-H raised approximately $1,500 through a 4-H Benefit Skeet Shoot recently hosted at the LaSalle Parish Sheriff’s Office Rifle Range at Summerville. Proceeds from the shoot benefited the parish’s 4-H shotgun program. There were over two-dozen participants in the shoot from ages 9 and up. Half of each entry fee went into a prize pot. The winners of the skeet shoot were: 1st place – Nathan Francis ($110), 2nd place – Benny Hailey ($66) and 3rd place – Tim Reaves ($44). Each of the winners donated their winnings back to the shotgun program.
