The Jena Giants played two more district games this past week. The Giants came into the week with a 4-0 district record and were looking to stay unbeaten in district play with two wins against the Winnfield Tigers.

The Giants were also looking to move into the top 16 of the class 3A power rankings to give themselves a chance at a home playoff game in the first round of the playoffs.
