Ashly Kaye Knight, 35, of Jena, passed from this life on Friday, April 14, 2017, at the Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.

She was born October 27, 1981 in Natchez, Mississippi, to the family of Bob Douglas and Brenda Kaye Wiley Cooper.

Ashly was a member of Shady Grove United Pentecostal Church of Nebo and a hair stylist at First and Pine Salon in Jena.

Services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, April 17, at Shady Grove United Pentecostal Church of Nebo with Rev. Bruce Thornton officiating.

Interment followed in the Summerville Cemetery at Summerville under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Mick and Rosa Lee Wiley.

Survivors include her husband, Aaron Nichols Knight; three daughters, Karlee Campbell, Emily Breithaupt and Landry Knight; father and step-mom, Doug and Lisa Cooper; mother and step-dad, Brenda and Glen Peppers; sisters, Alisha Sloan and husband Justin, and McKynsli Cooper; brothers, Kolby Murry, Josh Peppers and Nathan Peppers; paternal grandmother, Rosa Lea Savoie; paternal grandparents: Bob and Delores Cooper; and step grandparents, Paul and Alice Jones.

Pallbearers were Jacob Parker, Hunter Estis, Curt Wiley, Lee Morphis, Dewayne Kleinpeter and Justin Baum.

Honorary pallbearers were Tommy Prince and Marty Cooper.
