The Jena Giants played their first round playoff game this past week. The Giants earned the #13 seed and would play #20 Kaplan in Jena for their first round game.

The Giants would not waste any time jumping out to a lead as they would score 7 runs in the 1st inning and then 6 runs in the 2nd inning to take a 13-0 lead into the 3rd inning. The Giants would add one run in the 4th inning. That would be all the Giants would need as two Jena pitchers would combine for a 5 inning no-hitter.
