Today – June 14th – is Flag Day in the United States and its time to proudly fly your flag even if you don’t on other days. June 14th is the anniversary of the day we officially adopted the stars and stripes as the banner of our country.

Unlike President’s Day or Martin Luther King Day, Flag Day isn’t recognized as a federal holiday. However, many patriotic people choose to plan a celebration regardless, and rightly so.
