Belah-Fellowship Water System getting modern upgrades

The last thing the water system in Belah needed was to be struck by an EF2 tornado, but that is exactly what happened Sunday afternoon, April 2, which caused the system to sustain damage it has yet to recover from.

It was the final straw for the 43 year-old Belah- Fellowship Water System that was already on the brink of extinction, plagued for years by aging lines, inconsistent water pressure, and the inability to add new customers in one of the most prime real estate sections of the parish.
