The Jena Giants returned home this week to Guy Campbell Memorial Stadium to take on the Block Bears. The Giants came into the game looking to stay unbeaten and improve to 3-0 on the season. The Bears came in looking for their first win of the season.

The Jena-Block game has been a rivalry game for years now but the last couple of matchups have seen the Giants dominate Bears in the rivalry. The captains for the Giants were Lamar Farris, Chico Savage, Hunter Nolan, and Aaron Boyette. The Giants won the toss and elected to receive the football.
