The Jena Giants faced a huge test this past Friday as they welcomed a 5A team to Guy Campbell Memorial Stadium for the first time in program history. Class 5A is the highest classification in Louisiana High School Athletics which means the schools with the most kids are in this classification.

The 5A team that came to Jena this past week was the ASH Trojans out of Alexandria. ASH came into the game with a 2-2 record but had played one of the toughest schedules in the state up to that point.
