Travel experiences this writer has had in my life are something that I consider invaluable – and have definitely helped the person I am today. I’m not alone in this type of thinking either. A recent article regarding reasons we should travel definitely hit home for me.

“We often don’t take the time to think about exactly how much travel benefits us both individually and as a community. Need more reasons to justify your next adventure? It’s educational - School is great, but the best education is through travel. Travelling teaches about different cultures, world history, customs, new languages, architecture, arts and music, fashion, transport, technology and so much more. It’s like an encyclopedia on steroids, and the reading is replaced by amazing first-hand experiences.
