Jena officials introduce new $6.2 million budget

The Jena Town Council introduced the town’s 2018 year budget totaling nearly $6.2 million at its regular November meeting held Tuesday night of last week and called a public hearing for the December meeting to receive any comments on the budget.

The budget totals $6,177,115.26 in revenue; $5,190,774.96 in operating expenses; and $1,436,000.00 in capital improvements.
