The Olla Town Council unanimously approved the appointment of Sandra Murphy as a commissioner on the Olla Housing Authority to replace Sandy Carraway during their regular December meeting on Monday of last week. Murphy’s term will expire December 31, 2022.

In Town Superintendent Joseph Jeter’s report, he said the department is getting caught up on leaks and other tasks. He said the sewer plant is up and running and it all appears to be going well. He added that the bathroom at the farmer’s market is plumbed in and all that needs to be done is the electrical work.
