Jena High School senior Jaray Jenkins signed a letter of intent to commit to LSU early Wednesday morning December 20. Jenkins, a 4-star standout receiver and all around player for the Jena Giants, was offered a full ride, four-year football scholarship to play wide receiver for the LSU Tigers. The official NCAA signing day is February 7, 2018, but this year, for the first time, the NCAA offered an early signing period starting at 7 a.m. last Wednesday. Jenkins and his family awoke early to sign the document at 7:01, at the request of the LSU coaching staff.
