George Thomas Terral, 70, of Jena, passed from this life on Saturday, February 10, 2018, in Monroe. He was born Friday, November 14, 1947 in Jena, to the union of Frank Terral and Bea Cox Terral. An avid sportsman, the only thing he loved more than duck hunting was his family, especially bragging about his grandchildren. Services were held Monday, Feb. 12, at Temple Baptist Church in Jena with Rev. Johnnie Phillips officiating. Interment followed in the Woodland Cemetery, east of Jena, under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Martin Terral. Survivors include his wife Nina Stapleton Terral of Jena; three daughters, Tonya Latady and husband Charlie of Pascagoula, MS, Tammy Franks and husband Michael of Gautier, MS, and Tasha Terral of Baton Rouge; brother, Robert Terral and wife Katy of Jena; sisters, Brenda Courville and husband Randy of Jena, Rhonda Hernandez and husband Tony of Natchitoches, and Susan McMahan and husband Bob of El Dorado, AR; four grandchildren, Terral, Frances, and Mitchell Latady, and Jake Franks. Pallbearers were Charlie Latady, Mitchell Latady, Jake Franks, Michael Franks, Kenneth Poole, and Walker Alexander. Honorary pallbearers were Tommy Terral, Paul Farris, Jerry McCool, and “The All In Group”. Memorials may be made to Temple Baptist Church in Jena, or United Baptist Church in Nebo.
