With water level about 20-feet above flood stage on Monday morning, Catahoula Lake is expected to rise for a few more days before it starts falling, according to LaSalle Homeland Security Director Sheriff Scott Franklin.

As of Monday morning, the water stage on Catahoula Lake was 46.8-feet, with flood stage being 28.0-feet.

Little River at Rochelle had crested at 36.0 feet Sunday, and was beginning to fall, which should slow the rise on Catahoula Lake. Weather Service officials said flood warning continues for Little River until Wednesday morning. Minor flooding is occurring along the river.
