National School Breakfast Week, a weeklong celebration of the School Breakfast Program, was observed at LaSalle Junior High School during the first full week of March. The school celebrated with decorations, special menus, events and celebration, and more. Increasing breakfast participation is a goal for many SNA members, and at LJHS various elected officials and community leaders joined in the celebration. A different theme was observed each day during the week, as follows: On Monday, officials from AJ&J Thornton Oil Company from

Tullos joined the school to help serve breakfast. The slogan for the day was, “The Oil Field Feeds the Future!”. John Thornton, Bro. Bo Prather and Michael Sullivan helped served breakfast. Kelsey Ponds was the winner of the $10 gift card given by Thad Ivy.
