Dorothy J. Rash, 82, of Jena, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018 at her residence. She was a homemaker. Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 7, at Midway Baptist Cemetery under direction of Stricklin-King Funeral Home of Yazoo City, Mississippi. Dot was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Ethel Saxton; brothers, Major Saxton and Harris “Cotten” Saxton; sister, Lena Stamey; daughters, Opal McGee and Marie Walden; son, William Rash; granddaughter, Amy Webb; great great granddaughter, Layla Webb; and husbands, Roy Walden and Prentiss Rash. Survivors include her son, Robert (Terie) Rash of Pearl, MS; daughter, Wanda (Dewayne) Millis of Mississippi; granddaughters, Stacie (Bit) Hailey of Jena, Roiann Webb of Alexandria, Lesa Killen of Clarksville, TN, Jamie R. Neal of Mississippi, and Brittany Shoemaker of Mississippi; grandsons, Jason McGee of Jena, Andy McGee of Missouri, Christopher Rash of Pearl, MS, Andrew Millis and Ryan Millis, both of Mississippi; 16 great grandchildren; 24 great great grandchildren; brother, Cecil Saxton of Yazoo City, MS; and sister, Florence Buxton of Yazoo City, MS. Pallbearers were Ryan Millis, Billy Ray Stamey, Robert Stamey, John Buxton, Robert Rash, David Saxton, Andrew Millis, Wesley Jackson, and Michael Dipley.
