The Catahoula Lake Misc Chapter of Ducks Unlimited held a Gunbash/Crawfish Boil Friday night, March 30, at the Jena Community Center, where money was raised through memberships, raffles, and an auction. Overseeing the event was Tommy Jackson, Region 1 Director for Louisiana and Russell Dorton, local member. Thousands of dollars were raised at the event for DU programs with DU highlighting that 83% of all money donated goes to waterfowl and wetlands conservation and education.
