Edith Irma Berry Amos Norris, 79, of Jena, passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, in Tennessee. She was a homemaker and member of the Baptist faith. Visitation was held on Friday, April 6, in the Partlow Funeral Chapel in Lebannon, Tennessee, with additional visitation held on Monday, April 9, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena. Services were held at 1 p.m, Tuesday, April 10, at East Jena Baptist Church of Jena with the Revs. Craig James, Steve Jones and Bobbie McGee officiating. Interment followed in the Randall Cemetery near Jena under direction of Hixson Brothers, Inc. of Jena. She was preceded in death by parents, C.L. and Irma Berry; husband, Billy Mack Amos; and great-granddaughter, Kristin Crooks. She is survived by sons, Michael (Wanda) Amos, and Kevin (B.J.) Amos; daughters, Vicky (Frank) Crooks, and Jo Norris; brothers, David Berry, and Jimmy (Lola) Berry; sisters, Joyce Ransom, and Glenda Ordoyne; grandchildren, Jessica (Jason) Nugent, Lester (Kelly) Crooks, Dave (Dawn) Cooksey, Sonya Cooksey, Crystal Cooksey, Derrick (Chasity) Cooksey, Triston Amos, David Amos, Kylah Amos, and Bridget Crooks; great-grandchildren, Natalie Cooksey (Dakota Hudson), Austin Nichols, Landon Simmonds, Aubrey Cooksey, Amber & Lindsey Grisham, Leslie Smith, Justin & Jacob Nugent, Cason Crooks, Hayden, and Jolee Lemoine; great-great-grandchildren, Trinity Gibbs and Nevaeh Grisham; close family friend, Thelma Betty Lea; and many nieces, nephews and other loving family members.
