Robert W. “Buddy” Little, Jr., 91, of Jena, passed from this life on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 in Jena. Buddy was a loving husband, had made many great friends over the years and was an avid golfer. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the United States Navy. Buddy was employed as an engineer in the oilfield industry during his working career. Services were held at 10 a.m., Friday, April 20, in the chapel of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home in Jena, with the Revs. Dominick DiCarlo and Johnnie Phillips officiating. A graveside service followed at 5 p.m. that afternoon in the Resthaven Cemetery in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Patsy Butts Little; his parents, Robert William Little, Sr. and Addie Baker Little; one sister, Bessie Marie Brooks and husband Shad; and one brother, Wesley Baker Little. Those left to cherish his memory include his bothers, Francis Perry Little and wife Johnnie, Charles Ray Little and wife Melba, sister-in-law Mary Ann Little; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Little’s nephews were honored to serve as pallbearers. Serving as honorary pallbearers were Joe Phillips, J. A. “Hig” Hailey, Wendell Wilson, and K. P. Wilson.
