LHS Principal is Semi-Finalists…

LaSalle High School Principal Kara Masling, second from left, was informed last week that she is one of 24 semi-finalists being considered for the 2019 Louisiana Principal of the Year award. Dream Teachers, a co-sponsor of the award, sent representative Gary LaCombe, right, from Baton Rouge to present Masling with a gift basket for her honor of being a semi-finalist and he was joined in the congratulatory presentation by LaSalle Parish Secondary Supervisor Tish Taylor, left, and La-Salle Parish School Superintendent Janet Tullos, second from right. The 2019 Louisiana Principal of the Year will be announced during the 12th Annual Cecil J. Picard Educator Excellence Symposium and Celebration Friday, July 27, 2018, in Baton Rouge.
