LaSalle High School Principal Kara Masling, second from left, was informed last week that she is one of 24 semi-finalists being considered for the 2019 Louisiana Principal of the Year award. Dream Teachers, a co-sponsor of the award, sent representative Gary LaCombe, right, from Baton Rouge to present Masling with a gift basket for her honor of being a semi-finalist and he was joined in the congratulatory presentation by LaSalle Parish Secondary Supervisor Tish Taylor, left, and La-Salle Parish School Superintendent Janet Tullos, second from right.
