Hard-working, dedicated, talented, passionate are only a few words used to describe the Cindy Seaton Dance Academy Competition Team. The team, a group of a dancers ages 6-18, recently traveled to the Beyond The Stars National Finals in Slidell. Competing in styles of dance ranging from Ballet to Hip Hop, the CSDA team found success! The team was named the National Champion for its Elite Hip Hop Production “Billboard” as well as the beautiful Lyrical Large Group “I Surrender.” On top of that, the CSDA dance production “Billboard” was also awarded the “Ultimate Precision Award” for having the most precise routine of the entire competition! The team entered the competition with 12 group routines: 3 Diamond Awards, 8 Platinum Awards, and 1 High Gold. Setting a studio record, CSDA had 6 of their 12 routines to re-compete in the Final Showdown! What a true testament to their hard work and training!
