Edmond Hilliard “Bubba” Carriere, 62, of Oakland, Tennessee, and a native of Jena, passed from this life on Monday, July 9, 2018 in Bartlett, Tennessee. He was born Thursday, July 21, 1955 in Jena to the union of his parents, Harold “Bud” and Mollie Duke Carriere. Bubba was employed by Trans Canada Pipeline. He was a 1973 graduate of Jena High School. Graveside services were held at 10 a.m., Friday, July 13, in the Jena Cemetery, east of Jena, with Rev. Dominick DiCarlo officiating. Interment followed under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Alice Currington Carriere; a son, Jeffrey Carriere and wife Misty; daughter, Hillary Carriere; sister, Nora Gaspard and husband Danny; and four grandchildren, Macy, Mylie, Madi, and Auden. Pallbearers were Tommy Lutrick, Pete Jones, Austin Jones, Kyle Clark, Nickie Currington, and Tim Burris.
