The Jena Giants came into week 2 of the LHSAA football season sky high after blowing out the Winnfield Tigers in week one. The Giants would welcome the Rayville Hornets to town and would look to start the season 2-0 for the second straight season.

Rayville has always been an athletic team that relies on their team speed and this year would be no different. The Giants would try to use their speed and strength to counter the speed of the Hornets.

The captains for the Giants would be Shaun Todd, Zyrek Norl, Aaron Boyette, and Casey Spicer.
