The LaSalle Tigers offensive struggles continue as they just couldn’t get out of the gate last Friday night against Sicily Island during LaSalle’s first home game of the season, losing to the visiting Tigers 12-6.

The ground and pound game that LaSalle is known for has been stalled for some unknown reason this year and it happened again against Sicily Island. The Tigers were able to move the ball up and down the field but just couldn’t get in the end zone - either by penalty or Sicily Island able to just line up and disrupt the play.

The Tiger defense was stingy all night, holding Sicily Island to minimal gains on each play, but two busted plays were Sicily Island’s saving grace. They were able to score on 49 and 43 yard plays respectively.
