LaSalle fills open date with 35-12 victory over Tioga JV

By Greg Jones

The LaSalle Tigers welcomed Tioga JV to Tiger stadium on Thursday night of last week, as the Tigers were looking for someone to help fill an open date that was made when University Academy of Alexandria dropped its football program when school started this year.

We are thankful that the Tioga Indians were game to bring the JV team over to play. The Tioga Indians were celebrating homecoming all week, but the coaching staff decided it would be able to come over for a Thursday night contest.

Although, this game doesn’t count in power points or district ranking, it was good to get it in to just keep the boys going through the paces. The Tigers came out strong in the first quarter as they drove the ball down the field and capped off the first drive with a 20-yard Zack Dickey run. Hunter Daignault added the extra point and would end up being 5/5 on PATs for the game.
