Giants get back on track with 31-0 win

The Jena Giants came into this week with a different mindset that this group of players have never experienced before. For the first time since the 2014 season the Giants came into the game with a losing streak after losing the two previous games at ASH and at Avoyelles.

This group of seniors haven’t lost two consecutive games in their careers going all the way back to jr high. So it would be interesting to see how the team would respond after losing a heartbreaker on the road at Avoyelles a week earlier.

The Giants would welcome the 0-6 Peabody Warhorses to town which would be an excellent candidate to get the Giants back on track. Peabody is not your normal 0-6 team though as they came into the game playing one of the toughest schedules in the state and are very talented for a winless team.
