Sixteen Giants named to All-District teams

Sixteen Jena High School Giants were recently named to the 2018 Class 3-3A All-District football teams.

The Giants finished the 2018 season with an 8-2 record and claimed the co-district championship and was ranked as the Number 12 team in the state, and earned a berth in the state playoffs.

Troy Dangerfield was named as the defensive Most Valuable Player for the district for the second year in a row, and Trelon Jones was named as offensive co-Most Valuable Player of the Year.

Coach Jay Roark shared co-Coach of the Year honors with Caldwell High School Coach Buster Duplissey.
