LaSalle Lady Tigers finish week at 4-0 in district 3-1A

The LaSalle Lady Tigers finished this week 3-1 and none of these games were district contest. The Lady Tigers are 16-5 overall and 4-0 in District 3-1A play. They also hold down the number 1 position in 1A powerpoints. The Lady Tigers are starting to get some respect around the Cenla area as they are ranked #4 in the Cenla top 10. This ranking is of all classes around the Cenla area.

3/26/2019 - AnnaBeth Pitman shows lots of poise at the plate in this contest as she drove in 4 runs on three hits. Pitman drove in runs on a single and 2 homeruns, helping the Lady Tigers to a 12-1 victory. The Lady Tigers scored 5 runs in the second inning as Pitman and Sidni Laird gathered RBI’s. Taylor Snow got the win in the circle as she tossed a six inning gem striking out 14 and allowing 1 run on 1 hit. The Lady Tigers gathered 14 hits on the day with Laird, Kinsey Long, and Pitman getting three hits each. Laird and Pitman each had home runs in the game with Pitman having 2.

3/29/2019 - Taylor Snow didn’t allow a single run as the Lady Tigers shutout Delhi Charter 15-0 in the first game of the Vidalia Tournament. Snow had 11 strikeouts and walking 0 and only allowed 1 hit. Kinsey Long had a great game at the plate as she drove in 4 runs on a grand slam and finished the day 3 for 3. AnnaBeth Pitman also drove the ball out of the park in the second inning. The Lady Tigers tallied 16 hits in this game with Long, Pitman, Anna Clark, Stormie Street, and Kylie Hillestad racking up multiple hits in this game. The Lady Tigers were sure handed in this contest making no errors on defense and Emma Humphries was the Lady Tigers with the most chances and that total was 11.
