Georgetown High School Athletic Banquet awards

The annual Georgetown High School Athletic Banquet was held Monday, May 20, at the Georgetown Baptist Church Family Life Center. With over 150 in attendance, athletes from all sports were recognized for their achievements.

The guest speaker was Warren Morris of Alexandria. Morris, a former LSU Tiger and MLB player, is best remembered for his two-out walk-off home run to give the Tigers the win for the NCAA 1996 National Baseball Championship. His speech was both enjoyable and inspiring to those in attendance.
