Rosier receives coveted award

Kevin Rosier, son of Johnny Rosier of Jena, recently received the coveted Meritorious Honor Award from the Department of State, United States of America.

David M. Satterfield, Acting Assistant Secretary of the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs at the State Department stated the award was “in recognition of Kevin’s efforts to coordinate the interagency on Iraq’s compliance with the re-imposition of sanctions on Iran.”

Rosier has been employed by the State Department for more than 12 years and has been assigned to several embassies including those in Beijing, Thailand and Taiwan. His present title is Economic Officer, Officer of Iraq Affairs, U.S. Department of State, and makes his home in Washington, D.C.
