Guns and God day slated for Sept. 14

The broad coalition of gun rights advocates led by Constitutional Rights PAC, which hosted the first Gun Appreciation Day in 2013, has returned with a new event to be held Saturday, September 14th to send a message about protecting the rights of gun owners and restoring God-fearing values to American culture.

As far as we can determine, no gathering is planned in LaSalle Parish for this special day, but each of can pause during the day and say a prayer of appreciation for living in a country where we are free to own guns and worship God.

Supporters – whether they are a Christian, a Jew or simply a person of no organized religion who believes, as many American Founding Fathers did, in a power transcendent of human knowledge and ingenuity – find common cause in America’s heritage, culture and the U.S. Constitution based on natural law and the natural rights flowing from it.
