The LaSalle Tigers were able to put a notch in the win column last Friday night in Olla. They welcomed in Beekman Charter School from Bastrop, who did win the season opener last year in triple overtime.

In the opening possession of the game Beekman Charter would be turned away by a defense that would fly to the ball all game. On the 8th play of the opening drive, looking at a 4th and short yardage situation, Beekman decided to go for it and Griffin Peppers would record his first sack of the game.

This would turn the ball over to the Tiger offense that would utilize a nineplay drive ending with a Kade Hillestad to Zack Dickey 17-yard connection for a touchdown. Hunter Daigneault would come in and add the extra point for the Tigers to take a 7-0 lead.
